Alexander, after two decades in diplomacy – why real estate, and why now?

 

Alexander: For more than twenty years, I worked in Georgian Embassies in Israel, Ukraine, Uzbekistan, and the Netherlands. During that time, I met countless expatriates and investors searching for a sense of belonging, not just opportunity. I was always curious about why they chose one country over another.

Having lived across such diverse cultures – from Central Asia to Western Europe – I realised that my own country, Georgia, possesses the same advantages they sought elsewhere: an elevated lifestyle, competitive prices, and an open, welcoming society.

​With the world facing economic and geopolitical uncertainty, Georgia offers stability, growth, and a truly human way of living. After twenty-five years in diplomacy, I wanted to return home and showcase Georgia to the world – not just as a destination, but as a way of life. That vision became Origen Collection.

Olha, your background is rooted in client service and luxury marketing. How does that shape Origen?
 

Olha: My entire career has been built around service. I began at the European Business Association, supporting international companies and investors establishing themselves in Ukraine, and later joined a U.S.-based luxury marketing group that promoted global real estate and hospitality brands.
 

Those experiences taught me that true luxury lies in vision and experience – in the emotion a brand evokes and the care it delivers. After fifteen years working with world-class names, I wanted to bring that standard to Georgia – to offer international buyers not only trusted advice but a world-class experience while finding their new home.

What gap did you see in Georgia’s property market that Origen now fills?
 

Alexander: Georgia has transformed dramatically over the past decade. We now see contemporary architecture, international hospitality brands, and villas that rival Europe’s finest. Yet what was missing was a trusted guide – a single partner who could help international clients navigate this new landscape.
